Who is spamming this forum? Please take your information elsewhere..it’s useless & not required here. Admin - please delete them. Thanks.
CoolDude It'll be a spam bot. They automatically register an account, then start posting ads everywhere.
@Stefan-CINERA Probably need to tighten up the registration verification security to stop these spam posts becoming more widepspread. ;-)
@Stefan-CINERA The spamming appears to be continuing. Hopefully, you'll be able to resolve this issue before the spam posts start to outnumber the genuine ones.
At least they appear to be quite easy to identify. :-)
Luke_T Hi Guys, sorry for the spamming inconvenience. I'll check how to tighten the registration verification and avoid this mindless spamming.
Team, please do something against the spambots
Our apology for the spamming. We're working on getting on top of this.
Is this forum dead?
phoenix0870 It's still alive. But, we need an admin to clean-out the spam.
@CINERA Can you help please?
Again some spambots busy here... @CINERA
Please setup some Captcha solutions for this Forum. Only deleting the posts is not working properly
Remove all this spam and change authentication to avoid this
Where is the new support?
I am missing Stefan, who did a perfect job!
phoenix0870 I think all support for Cinera died with Stefan leaving. What a colossal waste of time and money this has been. Yet another HMD fails just short of greatness. Why is it so difficult just to take exactly what Sony did years ago with the HMZ and make the visible screen a bit bigger and sharper - WITHOUT adding a whole list of problems that the HMZ never had?!
@CINERA Can you please clean out the spam posts?
Please also post something here so we know you are here and available to help the users.
Thanks for cleaning Everytime, but please change the registration process, that the bots can not come back with new accounts.
And again the spambots did their job.
@CINERA now the spam Bots not even open new threads anymore and post the sh*t in real content.
Please implement some improvements to prevent the bots from joining this forum.
The bot programmers seem to be showing more productivity in modifying their spamming than the Cinera support staff are showing in tackling this issue... :-/
Finally new spam bots arrived...
Cinera team, please so something against this. I think we can easy block any the automatic registration in this forum
Terranigma Something like this should be a relatively easy fix, just by upgrading the user validation process.
