I'm also keen to hear a comparison of the Goovis G2 and Cinera. I was disappointed that Cinera features LCD screens instead of OLED, but I am genuinely curious to know how much of a difference it makes to the viewing experience in terms of black levels, contrast, colours, clarity of overall picture and smoothness of video movement.
Also, Goovis claimed that although their headset wasn't true 4K resolution, the sub-pixel density gave a 4K-like experience which was superior to regular 1080p - can anyone verify if that is true?
Going back to the subject matter of this thread, although it is disappointing that bother headsets were shipped without full 3D blu-ray support, I am happy that Cinera are at least now offering a more definitive indication of when this feature will be added. I don't believe the Cinego backers have any idea if/when this feature will be added.
